Dates for 2019 - Why not join us?
Sing with one of Ipswich's most friendly community choirs - this year celebrating our FIFTH birthday!
Whether you've been singing for years, or never sung before you'll enjoy music old and new, from pop and gospel to classical, world music to folk songs. An informal and fun community, relaxed but challenging and rewarding - open to everyone - no experience necessary! We don't ask anyone to sing solo, there are absolutely no auditions and we don't mind if you can't read music. In fact, quite often we don't even use music, so not reading it can be an advantage!
We especially would love more men to join us - you will receive an extra warm welcome.
Workshops, performances at local venues and social events during the year. Watch for details.
Rehearsals are around twice a month (bank holidays permitting) on Mondays from 8pm to 9:45pm - just come whenever you can. Dates are below. We don't make any charge, but donations for refreshments in the break are always welcome.

Upcoming Performances and Events
Sunday 4th February, 4pm, Singing at Gressland Court, Kesgrave
Saturday March 16th, 4pm, 5th Birthday Party - Concert and Cake!
Since we started in 2014 we've performed at various events in and around Ipswich, and most notably at our annual concert in the summer with our friends, saxophone ensemble, Saxceptional and the incredible Ipswich Musicians Union big band.
We've sung for volunteer events for both the East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH) Treehouse (where we joined with the Adastral Park Singers) and for a St Elizabeth's Hospice awards and thank-you afternoon at Trinity Park. In 2017 we performed a set as part of the Sing for Pleasure Community Choir day at St John's Waterloo in London.
At Christmas we've really enjoyed singing several times for the EACH carol service at St. John's Woodbridge, as well as Carol Singing with our sister group, Saxceptional, around the neighbourhood of Burlington Baptist Church where we rehearse. In 2018 we sang and led community carols for "Deck the Halls" at the Leiston Long Shop - an evening which also included a performance of Dicken's A Christmas Carol.
Another annual event has been singing at Gressland Court, Kesgrave for their Sunday afternoon Songs of Praise.
We are always open to offers of events and places to sing!
